Sarah Lamptey founded ShowerBox, a British organisation in 2019 and was awarded ‘Change Maker of the Year’ by Just Giving /Big Issue. Better Green was pleased to co-fun the renovation of a brand-new unit that will service London and Birmingham, provide financial support to maintain and repair two units and fund a large stock of winter items such as socks, underwear, gloves and cleaning materials.

In January 2022, BGG started to directly support Start Small, a UK-based charity working in Nakuru, Kenya. This charity strives to educate at-risk or poverty-stricken youth, empowering and changing whole communities through a school sponsorship program and access to safe housing.

The Isle of Wight Youth Trust supports the mental health and wellbeing of Island children and young people aged 5-25 through the provision of one-to-one counselling, family therapy and group support.

Home-Start Guildford is a local community network of trained volunteers with expert support, helping vulnerable families with young children who are dealing with challenges such as disability, sickness, isolation, mental health, domestic abuse, multiple births and difficult relationships.

Faron Alex Paul is an anti-knife crime street-credited mediator who has personally led a crusade against UK youth-centric knife crime. We funded a launch event in April 2023, including 20 of his stab-proof hoodies to be given away at the event. We continue to support.
